Rating: Kaiteriteri MTB Park is a popular destination for grade 1-3 singletrack riders. There are also four tracks for expert riders (grade 4–4+). The Park is nestled in forest above Kaiteriteri Beach.
Know before you go: There is a store, cafe and accommodation available adjacent to the Kaiteriteri Motor Camp.
Tear-off pad maps are available at the Kaiteriteri Beach Camp Office, Kaiteri Lodge/Trail Journeys, Motueka and Nelson i-Sites, Motueka bike shops and some retailers for a gold coin donation or online at
Kaiteriteri MTB Park
Getting there: From Motueka follow Hwy 60 towards Takaka and turn right to Kaiteriteri 150m after crossing the Riwaka River. Park in the public carpark next to the cafe, toilets and changing rooms across the road from the beach. Then ride back towards Motueka. Take the first right on Martin Farm Rd towards Bethany Park. The MTB Park entrance is 400m on the left. Alternatively follow the Great Tastes Cycle Trail from Motueka, which takes you right into the park on Easy Rider Trail.
Descriptions: Apart from Easy Rider, almost all tracks are one-way and clearly signposted.
• Ziggy and Corkscrew give access to the top of the park and the popular Jaws.
• From the lookout at the top of Corkscrew follow up the road to the advanced Velocity, Flamin’ Nora, Rockface and Karmakaze tracks.
